The Science Behind Nightfood

Almost everybody snacks at night. We struggle to make the right choices but most of us don’t reach for the healthiest options. Eating the wrong snacks at night can impair your sleep, and when you don’t sleep well, everything suffers. Your appearance, your relationships, your performance… everything.
At Nightfood, we’ve spent eleven years pioneering and perfecting the first night snack products for consumers. Nightfood isn’t a magic cure for poor sleep. There are many factors that ultimately determine sleep quality on any given night. But Nightfood Ice Cream is a great way to improve sleep hygiene for most night snackers. It’s another good choice, like less screen time before bed, or keeping your bedroom cool and dark. Nightfood Ice Cream was formulated by leading sleep experts and nutritionists to satisfy nighttime biological cravings while protecting sleep quality.
Nightfood contains less of the sleep-disruptive ingredients common in the most popular night snack choices and more of the ingredients and nutrients that research suggests can support nighttime relaxation and better sleep quality.
THE NIGHTFOOD DIFFERENCE

Formulated with
Better Sleep in Mind

Here at Nightfood, our team of sleep and nutrition experts developed our delicious ice cream to be sleep-friendly for healthier night snacking:

Less Sugar, Less Fat, Fewer Calories

Casein Protein, Prebiotic Fiber, Digestive Enzymes

SLEEP-FRIENDLY TRYPTOPHAN, MAGNESIUM, B6, AND MORE

No artificial sweeteners or erythritol

Less Sleep-Disruptive Ingredients

Satisfy Those Nighttime Cravings With Guilt-Free Ingredients. Award-winning Nightfood Ice Cream comes in nine delicious flavors to satisfy what your body naturally craves at night with a guilt-free, better-for you, and sleep-friendly formulation. Nightfood contains approximately 70% less sugar, 70% fewer calories, and only 10% of the fat of traditional ice cream.
Formulated For Nighttime Digestion. Nightfood does not use sugar alcohol sweeteners (ex: erythritol, xylitol), or artificial sweeteners which can often cause bloating and digestive upset for many consumers. Nightfood’s mineral content helps with acid reflux and heartburn.

Sleep-Supporting Ingredients

100mg of Tryptophan Per Serving: Remember feeling sleepy at that last Thanksgiving holiday dinner? Each pint of Nightfood contains more naturally-occurring tryptophan than a quarter pound of turkey. The amino acid tryptophan is used by the body to produce serotonin and melatonin and these hormones are largely responsible for regulating sleep onset and sleep quality.
Sleep Supporting Vitamins and Minerals – Nightfood contains added Vitamin B6, Calcium, Zinc and Magnesium which research indicates can improve sleep quality while helping with acid reflux and heartburn.
Added Casein Protein, Prebiotic Fiber, Digestive Enzymes: Each serving contains at least 8 grams of protein. Casein is a slow digesting protein that helps with satiety and cravings. The lactase enzyme was added to make our ice cream lactose free, and easier to digest for everybody (with or without lactose issues).
No sleep medications or drugs. Nightfood does not contain any prescription sleep medications or drugs. Safe for the entire family to enjoy, even recommended by the American Pregnancy Association for mamas-to-be.
